About the Artist
Robert Sandidge - California Plein Air Painter
Artist Statement
As my work has evolved over the years I have found I prefer painting outdoors in Plein Air but I
also work in my studio. I have owned my own gallery, Sandidge Fine Art, in Californias scenic
Gold Rush Country for the past 31 years with my wife, Jackie, who operates the gallery. We
are located in our 170 yr old Historic Stone Building in Diamond Springs. Ca. (Town before
Placerville, Ca. off hwy 50) Our main intent is to live an "artful lifestyle" with our business and
residence in one convenient location.
